Objective of Training Programme

Ø  To develop or enhance analytical skills/ technical knowledge of participants in new analytical areas to prepare them to strengthen the quality medicine for betterment of health of Indian population.

Ø  To broaden experience of an area of work of participants with an opportunity to learns analytical concepts.

Ø  To create the awareness about the present scenario of drug testing and to better understands the regulatory aspects.

Scope of Training Programme

Ø To provide hands on training to participants on various highly sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC/ UV/ FTIR with Microscope/ KF autotitrator/ Potentiometer/          LC-MS/MS/ GC-HS/ GC-MS/ ICP-MS/ AAS/ NMR etc.

Ø To provide or develop awareness on different analytical skills through presentation/ lecture/ seminar from experts throughout the country.

Ø To create awareness about the present scenario in India related to the regulatory aspects.

Content of Training Programme

The training programme is designed in a systematic way such that the classroom presentations were followed by the hands on training on modern analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, IR, UV, KF titrator, potentiometric titrator etc. Topics included in the curriculum will cover all the facts of professional and personal challenges for the drugs analyst. Training will include presentation from various experts in different discipline from all over the country. Pre assessment and post assessment of participants is done to evaluate the effectiveness of training programme. All the participants are divided into the few groups and round of question answer conducted to interact each group to other and share their awareness on analysis.

Outcome of Training Programme

These training programmes will help the participants to enhance their skills on various modern sophisticated analytical instruments which are available with their respective laboratories and also provide the awareness of instruments which are available with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad but are not available in their respective laboratories.

Presentation given by the experts on various useful topics e.g. dissolution, GLP, ISO:17025, LCMS, AAS, method development, method validation, column chemistry, GDP, advanced or developed awareness on different analytical skills to enhance the knowledge of the participants.

Also the same training programme will help the participants to create awareness in the field of drug testing with regard to regulatory aspects in present scenario.
