3rd Training Programme on various Analytical Instruments & Techniques for Government Drug Analysts
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) has organized a five-day training program on various analytical instruments beginning 19th January, 2015, at the Commissions office in Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad. A total of 53 drug analysts are participating from 18 different states of India in the program. The training program was inaugurated by Dr. R.K Khandal, Vice Chancellor, Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow, who was also the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. G.N Singh, Secretary-cum-Scientific Director of IPC and the DCG(I) delivered a motivating speech for all the participants and talked about retaining the standards of excellence maintained by IPC. Dr P.L Sahu, Principal Scientific Officer, Meenakshi Dahiya, Senior Scientific Officer and the Indian Pharmacopoeia Laboratory team will take the training sessions over a course of five days in which the participants will be taught the skills and methodologies of testing the samples using different analytical equipments. The focus of the program will be on hands-on training on various instruments like HPLC, GC Dissolution, IR, UV, AAS, and KF etc. The participants will undergo a rigorous training schedule for testing the standards of drugs.
