Hon’ble Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Smt. Anupriya Patel, released the 7th Edition of the National Formulary of India (NFl) on 21st September 2026 at the 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week organised by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The 7th Edition of NFl is released in both print and digital versions. The NFI 2026 comprises 653 monographs, including 83 new monographs, 30 immunologicals, and 42 fixed-dose combination (FDC) monographs. The 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week was observed from 17-23 September 2026 with the theme "Promoting Rational Use of Medicines through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare.
